Twitter Is Testing Automatic

Twitter experiments with automatically translating tweets into your preferred language.

It has more than 300 million users all over the world, and not all of them speak the same language.

Soon you may not even notice that the micro-blogging platform is experimenting with automatically translating tweets in your stream.

The translation is already a feature of Twitter, but it’s not automatic. Tweets are presented in the language in which they were written, but the “Translate Tweet” option appears below the text if you log in to your account.

Tapping it immediately performs the translation. However, as reported by 9To5Mac, Twitter is testing automatic translation between a small group of users across iOS and Android in Brazil.

Setting Translator

Go to Content and pick the tweet translation service to allow or disable the setup of your account settings. A global icon appears next to a tweet when a tweet is viewed in a different language.

The ‘View Translation’ link will appear by clicking, which will display the tweet below the original.
